The Sunshine Blogger Award… Times 2!

Hello there!

I haven’t done an award in a while!

I was nominated twice for the Sunshine Blogger Award, (Possibly more, sorry if I missed yours!) so I’m going to answer the questions for both in this post! Thanks so much to Rebekah and Diamond!

I hope you’re ready for a bunch of questions!

The sunshine blogger award.jpg

  • Thank the person/persons that nominated you and link back to their blog.
  • Answer the 11 questions your nominator has given you.
  • Nominate 11 other people and give them 11 new questions to answer.
  • List the rules and display the award.

I’ll start with Rebekah’s questions!

1) Are you an indoor person or an outdoor person?

Indoor 🙂

2) What is your least favorite blog post that you’ve done?

Probably The Thomas Family Pets Part 4… I just felt like the storyline got really boring, but I like the first three parts pretty well 🙂 (It was my first photoseries!).

3) What is your biggest pet peeve?

I’m not sure… But hearing people eat isn’t very fun. XD

4) If you could change your name, what would you change it to?

I don’t know, I like my name. 🙂 How about Grace? XD LOL

5) Rollerskating or ice skating?

Ice skating, but I guess rollerskating is more practical.

6) Who is the person, alive or dead, who has influenced you the most?

I’d say my Mom!

7) What’s your favorite subject?

Perhaps history. Writing and reading are good, too!

8) Brownies or cookies?

Cookies. (Though brownies are Amazing!)

9) What’s your least favorite food?

Raw tomatoes? I guess oysters are weird to eat….

10) Would you consider yourself more introverted or extroverted?

11) Pencils or pens?

Pencils. Even though they can be lighter and more smudgy.

And here are Diamond’s!

1) Have you ever taken your doll on vacation with you?

Yes! I took Julie to Colorado!

2) What piece of doll clothing do you wish came in your size?

I don’t think I had ever really thought of that before. But the Our Generation outfits A Real Cool Cat and For the Frill of It are really cute.

3) Do your friends and family know about your AG blog?

Yes. Well, not everyone, but my immediate family does, and several friends/family.

4) First thing you’d do if you won the lottery?

Probably freak out… Ok, ok, um, probably do some serious planning. (Yeah I guess that wasn’t much better…)

5) If you had to give away one of your dolls, who would it be?(I know, so hard!)

I didn’t see this one coming! Oh dear… but… but… well, I can’t do Julie, because she’s my first… and Grace is so pretty… and Clara has such a fun personality… but Caroline, though! AAAH! I guess Caroline, but thankfully I don’t have to 🙂 .

6) How long do you think you’ll be posting on your blog?

I don’t know, probably a while! 🙂

7) Favorite AG tuber?

I don’t really follow AG tubers much. Does MyFroggyStuff count?

8) Which one of your dolls personalities are most like yours?

Good question! Maybe Grace, except she might be more outgoing.

9) What color is the room you are in?

The walls are a grey color!

10) Favorite pet you’ve ever had?

Our current cat, Clifford. At least, as far as I can remember he’s my favorite.

11) Favorite subject in school?

As mentioned earlier, probably history, writing, or reading. 😀

That was fun!! I hope you all enjoyed, (and fantastic job if you made it through all those questions!)

I nominate:

Christian Homeschooler

My Questions:

  1. What are you wearing right now?
  2. Do you prefer a Ponytail or Braid?
  3. If you could only read one book for the rest of your life, what book would you choose?
  4. What is your favorite word?
  5. Reading or writing?
  6. Would you rather read a book while sitting under a tree, or in a tree?
  7. If you could take a week-long vacation to any one place in the world for free, where would you choose?
  8. Favorite ice cream flavor?
  9. Tea or coffee?
  10. What is one of the strangest dreams you can remember?
  11. If you could choose a superpower to have, what would it be?

I hope you enjoyed this/these tag(s)!! 😀

Do you have a least favorite blog post? A least favorite food? What is your favorite pet that you had/have?

Cowgirl Caroline

Hello! It’s me, Caroline. 🙂

Today I decided (or, should I say, Gracie decided and I eagerly obliged!) that I would go riding! So I put on a cute cowgirl-themed outfit and went for a ride, while Gracie followed me with her camera…

Clara Practices Gymnastics 3 – Clara on the Beam

Hello there!

I hope you enjoy another enstallment of Clara practicing gymnastics! If you would like to see the last two times that Clara practiced gymnastics, you can check out her floor practice here, and her bar practice here!

Without further ado, take it away, Clara! 😉

DSCN2316Clara on the beam

Hey everyone! I’m excited to get to show you my beam skills today!

Remember, before doing gymnastics, be well-stretched and have a good mat or soft floor area.

Also make sure to tie your hair back! I also left off my glasses, since I don’t have contacts, and my vision isn’t too bad.

Let’s begin! Now when Gracie is at her gymnastics, she would probably do releve (Re-le-vay) walks across the beam, which means walking on your toes, but since I’m a doll with unmovable ankles, and I don’t want to bore you with simply walking across the beam, I’ll do step kicks across the beam instead!

So I kick and step,

kick and step.

Pivot turn!

Now let’s try something more interesting. How about a handstand?

Lunge, lever, (Note, use your good leg consistently in skills like handstands and cartwheels, as I had forgotten to do 😉 )

And kick up! (Also, I highly recommend NOT closing your eyes during your gymnastics skills 😛 )

Normally Gracie would land a handstand in a lunge, but since lunges are harder for us dolls, I just stuck the landing.

I’m going to try a split jump!

Up, split, and…!

Oof! Oops, I was supposed to stick that… Well, at least you know now why to have a mat!

I’ll just do my good leg splits on the beam!

Next I want to show you my side handstand dismount!

Lever, kickup,

and dismount! For this skill I needed to keep my hands on the beam all the way till I reach the ground!

And stick it!

Now you may remember from other times that I’ve shown you my gymnastics, that I always have one skill that I want to show you, but that I need help with! Last time Caroline spotted me, and this time…

Julie came to help!

I’m going to do a cartwheel on the beam!

and cartwheel!

Yippee! Thanks Julie!

That’s it for today! I hope that you enjoyed! And a special thanks to Julie for spotting me today!

Behind the Scenes!

(It’s Gracie again!)

Our family cat walked into the setup a few times, and I snapped some pictures of him!

Here is the setup that I made for this post, consisting of a blanket, several old books, and some reflecting tools!

Also, a big thanks to my brother who helped hold up Clara for a lot of pictures!

This might be the last “Clara Practices Gymnastics! 😮 At least, that was my original plan, but maybe she could come back again on the vault…

Did you enjoy seeing Clara practice her beam skills? Would you like to see Clara on the vault? Do you/have you ever done gymnastics?
