A Surprise Garage Sale Find!

Hi there everyone!

Today I’m here to show you the surprise find I mentioned in my Slow Cooker Craft post!

Eek!

So here’s some context.

Lately I’ve been interested in Hearts for Hearts dolls, specifically Consuelo, their Mexican doll. (What do you mean I just gave it away??) They are so pretty, and are a good size for little sisters for AG dolls.

So, lo and behold, as I was walking through a garage sale, there was a Consuelo doll sitting there, being sold for $1! 😮

And as you can probably guess, I bought her!

Meet Consuelo! 🙂

Here she is before I cleaned her up.

She came with her meet shirt, shorts from another doll (I believe they are Zelia’s shorts), the Hearts for Hearts bracelet (on her as a necklace), a yellow stretchy bracelet, and also a pair of underwear. She didn’t come with shoes or earrings.

 

She was actually in pretty good condition!

I didn’t have to do much. I basically cleaned off her vinyl, washed her clothes, and washed, brushed, and conditioned her hair.

And here she is after!

I’m excited and thankful to have found her! She was a fun surprise.

Here she is with Caroline! I’m not sure if Consuelo should be the dolls’ sister or cousin.
